What, you mean, other than being home alone with about 600 pints of beer? Nothing. Nothing at all.
Heh. Yes, there is that. I've also taken delivery of new brewing toys that will allow me to upgrade the whole thing.. so may take them for a test-drive too. You know, techniques and equipment I've only read about and never actually used. How very very Blitzbau..

I may have a go at an Airfix Lightning. The 1/72 one. Maybe Wednesday. Obviously there is not even a whiff of hope of getting it finished. But at least I can start.

Thinking about another myself. Studying my list. Possibly a FROG Sea Hornet. It keeps taunting me like I'm not man enough or something.

I'm going to try to fit another one in.. we'll see. Herself will be demanding my valuable time later in the week. Honestly, all this fuss over "Graduating" from "University" with a "Masters Degree".. doesn't she appreciate that I have styrene to ruin?

Well, unfortunately I am going to miss out again this year. Currently in San Francisco and won't be back until late on the 29th. Having a lady friend is definitely cutting into my building time.

I do have a couple kits ready to go so will probably have a post blitz blitz somewhere on the forum (check sci-fi) early next month.

Hey Philip. The two of these per year. You're good.

By the old Blitzclock on the wall it is time to close this puppy out. Thank you all for participating. There was great exhibits of daring-do with really tough kits being built. Great food and great musical interludes. When you get bombarded with media radio you forget there is some really great stuff out there that gets little if any airtime. And some very innovative problem solving to complete the build.

Simply love the Blitzbau.

I will have John shut this down when he can.

Thanks for having us, Jeff. Looking forward to more chaos later in 2016.

Frankly, it's the only good meal I get all year. It can't come soon enough. I'm wasting away here.

Even though I couldn't get a clear day to participate in a build, the entertainment value of the Blitzbau had been supreme! Thanks to ask those who took part and to Jeff for being an excellent guiding hand
Best wishes

FTFY, Jeff.

And yes, it was a whole big ton of fun, even if I'm not thrilled about the two DNFs. Must Do Better.

At least you had a couple of starts. I didn't get even that far.
Lots of good builds, even those not yet finished.

What's the count? 14 completions and 6 DNFs?

That's a good win % when you consider the gang of idiots who signed up to swap beer/food/tunes/modelling
