Emboldened by your success with the bluddy seabird! I decided to give it the dromedary a go. No Roden action though. I'm not a lunatic. Well...ok...I am a lunatic (given that my nickname is Loony) but not that kind of lunatic.
1/28 Revell? 1/32 Academy (yuk)? Eduard 1/48?

Or a little 'un? The 1/72 Revell kit isn't bad at all, IIRC.

First reaction would be the 1/28th but the 1/72 is a great little kit.

What did you use for the panel line wash? :-D

Going to go again tomorrow, I think... got a couple of hours at University but otherwise fairly free. Subject Tee Bee Cee. I've run out of blitzable WWI planes and not sure if I'm in the mood for armour...

Well if you have a Matchbox Jagdpanther, I would say use it. I did consider an M-16 half track. Matchbox armor has a certain, indefinable, tacky charm. They may not be accurate, but they sure look like what they're supposed to be looking like. I could really get into armor but… all those bloody wheels.

Yes. So many, many wheels. And awful horrible rubber tracks that will refuse to fit and casually flick several of said wheels into the troposphere while I try.

On second thoughts, that sounds perfect for a blitz.

just use a stapler on the tracks and bung the staple where nobody will notice. Simple dimple.

Keeping with the theme of the last blitz, the next subject hapless victim will be another hoary old MB kit in shiny Revell packaging: 1/72 Fairey Swordfish. No diorama, sadly. Unless I scratchbuild a flight deck or something of that ilk.

I'm not going to scratchbuild a flight deck.

Maybe tomorrow, depending on what SWMBO has planned for me.

I'm following the blitz work here but today I be mostly doing the flooring in the kitchen/diner  still. I set myself today to get it done and despite interruptions (LOADS of them  ) I'm making progress on this self imposed blitz. No pics will be forthcoming, sorry. But for music I've got some Whitney Houston blasting out.
On the proper blitz front I have dug out a few contenders and will peruse these later and maybe post up my choices.

All the best.

I'm planning on joining the fun Jeff. I have kits set aside and my 'Glamorous assistant' Sarah said she'll 'help' by taking pics for me. I'm thinking maybe something out of my usual aircraft builds but I have a HB Mitsubishi Zero as a fall back.

All the best.

Well. I've got the flooring done in the kitchen-diner. Only the porch to do now and the letter box to repair (Little Greg 'investigated' it  5 yr olds eh. I'm going into the loft to look through some potential victims to add to the pile in a few mins but I'm tempted by a box of AEC trucks, Both Airfix Matador and Coopercraft Monarchs

All the best.

I think I'll try another, Friday-Sunday (-ish).
A bit more challenging; something 'tween wars.

May not happen - I am pretty sure I just lost Thursday and probably Friday.
I'll try, but ...
