Arc does a Blitzbrau: It DONE!!

Post by Arcwelder »

Choice made.. 1/72 Revell Fokker D VII. Not sure what markings but it won't be the kit decals (or German, most likely). Looking to go on the 30th, all things being equal.

That's a cunning plan, a Bi-plane with no rigging on a blitz.

This will be one to watch.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Well, a tiny bit of rigging. But yes, this is practically cheating!

Good call. Great model, no rigging and many finishes to choose from.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

May I suggest, given it's a blitz, Herman Goering's D.VII?

Incendiary suggestion, but it appears to have bombed.

We're underway in around half an hour. It's a lovely Saturday morning in Cork (it finally stopped raining!)

and for once I have no commitments and I'm about to have the house to myself as SWMBO is off out. Joy.

Therefore, we're having a Blitzbau:

and a Blitzbrau

It's an IPA that I've been experimenting with. It started life as a Trouble Brewing "Punk" IPA clone but has evolved considerably. I'm still debating hop additions..
