Re: Arc does a Blitzbrau: It's ON
Done.
An attempt at the Fokker D VII of Sqn Leader A Kozhevnikov in Russia in 1923... the Egyptian thing was his particular marking. Chances are the nose wasn't red but I wanted to add a bit of colour. The Soviet Stars are wrong, but I didn't have right ones handy so no worries.
Blitz #1 is in the books.
More soon, thanks to all y'all who dropped by!

Just read through from first to last. Very entertaining, and at the end of proceedings you have a very nice Fokker, an excellent looking cottage pie, and a good few litres of home brewed beer. Result

Nicely done. Something this tiny is, I find, more of a challenge to get done quickly than a larger model often is. Hence my very sensible decision to build a 1/72 Gnat. No flies on me.
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

Very neat blitz with three great results. Nice one.
All the best.

Excellent work all round, cheers for demonstrating how a blitz should be performed.
It's a shame the beer was not finished within the 24 hours otherwise you could have claimed a double blitz

Thanks everybody.
Splash: I'm sure one could theoretically drink beer that's a few hours old, but I wouldn't recommend it. Among the many reasons, unfermented yeast is a powerful, powerful laxative! Might have to tie the bottling around a blitz in a couple of weeks, though..
Meantime, stuck at work and itching to blitz again, so chances are we'll have attempt #2 tomorrow.
