Re: OT's Syrian Suprise
Great progress!!
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

I've just dribbled all over my sodding keyboard now.....flakmonkey wrote:I wonder if OT has ever been to Bristol…
I like the sound of the JAMAICAN DRUMMERS: Chicken drummers drenched in a pineapple jerk sauce, grilled over the hot coals for that extra added smoky goodness. Served with our very own cheesy corn...
Best wishes

Re: OT's Syrian Suprise
I wonder if we could book that place for a Blitzbau?flakmonkey wrote:I wonder if OT has ever been to Bristol…
Anyway, I got a bit distracted with the footy but I managed to slip in a few more calories as I could feel myself wasting away!
I also unmasked the Spit and have given the top side a coat of Klear ready for decals. It must be time for a shot with a clock:
Some touch ups are needed on the underside before that can have a klear coat. I will leave the canopy frame work until last as I hate it!
Should have this done in plenty of time.

Sweet. We should book Spitfires for a UAMF banquet.

Not as impressive as cottage pie that's for sure.Arcwelder wrote:Looking good, OT. The beans on toast that is. The plane is pretty nifty too, I suppose..
Well this could be where the whole blitz goes pear shaped. I can't remember where I got these decals or how old they are
So let's roll the dice. Wish me luck.

Fingers and toes crossed O-T. They look OK from here. But I am a long way away. You can always sacrifice a wing walk. Oops that could be the flag.

Re: OT's Syrian Suprise
The good luck wishes must have worked.
I even remembered to put the star at the top of the roundal. Well chuffed.
A short intermission now for some chow.

Looking good OT.
Considering the current situation in Syria this brings a whole new light to the Syrian Air Force.
Lovely scheme mate keep it up!

Yes it does bring back the good old days when the country was at peace - and we sold them weapons.Maverick231 wrote: Considering the current situation in Syria this brings a whole new light to the Syrian Air Force.

Re: OT's Syrian Suprise
We don't have Sunday roasts, on account of The Tall Vegetarian Wife being… well, vegetarian. Which is how she got her name. That and being tall. I suppose I could hop down to the 'spoons and get one and a few pints of Devil's Backbone American IPA. But that would be cheating.
Model doesn't look half bad.

Re: OT's Syrian Suprise
I had pizza for Sunday lunch. And pints. But your tucker looks much nicer. Glad the decals behaved. Going to a gig now, best of luck for the finish!
