Sadly, I didn't take a moment to immortalise that last screw-up. Here's what it looks like now. It may seem familiar.
Nice, calming ambient type stuff for the fiddly work ahead (and the calamaties, of course)

One of the great things about a forum is that when disaster strikes, one's fellow members can be relied upon for sympathetic words of understanding and solidarity.
A car forum that I frequent is notorious for such heartwarming displays. When a member posted pictures of his extremely rare BMW 3.0 CSL, which had mere minutes earlier been hideously mauled by a delivery van, the first reply was "I'm sure that will buff".

Did you miss me?
No?
Took an hour out to spend some quality time with the Better Half... then got the rigging done. Relatively painless thus far. The top attachments are curing.. when they're good and solid I'll tension up the fishing line and we're good.
Vini Reilly FTW

You're braver than I am to try a blitz with rigging!!! Actually, I don't have the nerve to try a blitz at all. This is fun to watch and looking good.

Calling it for the night, I think...
I'm going cross-eyed and starting to do dopey (well, dopier than usual) things.. plus I'd like the undercarriage to have a chance to toughen before I put weight on it.
I'm up early tomorrow, so a quick couple of hours will get me to the finish line.. 11am is the deadline.
Thanks for checking in!

Checking in...
Undercarriage & nose rigged. Spinner on. Paint touchups and Klear in progress.
Just wheels, decals and bits and bobs to go. Plain sailing, one would think or, in other words, it's time for me to drop it and step on it to create some drama.
Never too early for HMHB
