OK...

Gun is on, about to do another coat of green.

Hey! I managed to drill out a gun barrel without completely ruining it!

Image

I'm spending way too much time on the bricks.. constantly lightening the shade of my "Brick pink" mix to add contrast and variation and lots of pastel dust.. it's fun, so the heck with it.

And here come the Rubber Bands From Hell's Stationery Cabinet

Here's a very strange and murky Gospel/Blues song

That was incredibly well done. The base is still, of course, in the Revell re-pop but it seems highly unlikely that the decals for the Nazi propaganda graffiti and the recruitment poster would be included. I think that kit may merit a re-visit at some future point.

Monty's caravan! Still my beating heart!

Thanks to Revell we can all revel in Matchbox nostalgia. In fact, I bought a He70 yesterday, and there's a thought, blitz a Blitz but I bet someone, sometime's already done that. If not, bagsy.

When's the beer ready? I've got one of those USB beer things, so I'd be very grateful if you'd ping me a half.

Just mentioning it made me want to go out and get one. Down the LHS tomorrow, I think.

Beer's ready in a week or two. I see what you did there! The MB He70 is an ill-fitting monster IIRC.. but yeah, I'll buy the new Revell repop soon too.

There's going to be exactly as much zimmerit on this as rigging on yer Gnat. We're lucky I'm not painting this in Afrika Korps colour(s).

Really? Thanks.

You know, back in the day, the wee man Strachan was the manager of "my" team. When we were still any good. I could never understand a word he said. And if he was interviewed alongside Gary McAllister it just got worse. And that happened regularly back then.

Strachan did a good job, especially so when you consider that the chairman at the time was a bit of an idiot. I mean yeah sure let's sell Chris Kirkland and Robbie Keane. What's the worst that could happen?

We got relegated the very next season. That's what.

I didn't follow football in a very long time now, mostly because I think it's been destroyed by money. And that old goat Murdoch. Which is why I kind of object to IPL in cricket. Anyway.

Enough talking amongst ourselves.

Is it done yet?

My good friend Niall (who, with my Dad are Limerick's leading Leeds fans) wrote that. it's a classic.

And yes, I miss when football was football. I haven't followed the Murdochship in years. It's virtually unwatchable. Rugby and Cricket scratch those itches that medical science hasn't taken care of.

Oh, yeah, model..

Reddish-brown on (one coat)

Wrap the line a bunch of times around the wheels, it'll look about right ... Just add mud to cover.
