Excellent suggestion!
I've rattle-canned the underside in cream. While that dries....

Little V has done some assembling. While the glue sets, he's helping his sister build a lego jail :-D

So while he is away from the speakers I can crank out a bit of accadaccers

Jailbreak is by far my favorite AC/DC song and deserves to be played at 11. Good luck with the build!

Loving the build so far and the music too.....not so sure about the culinary effort though, Marmite is much better!
Best wishes

Great progress, music and food.

How do the two kits compare ?
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Marmite should be illegal :ha:
I had it once (never again) and it tasted to me like someone had mixed vegemite with molasses. Those are two things that should never EVER be combined. A Guinness shandy would be a good comparison. And if there is anyone out there who rinks Guinness shandies, they should be imprisoned immediately.
The purity of the saltiness in Vegemite is where it's at.

Anyway, I digress....

The Little Vandal ran out of puff in the afternoon and is now well and truly asleep.

Then there was an amazing Massuman curry cooked by the lovely Mrs V and washed down with a Kosiusko Pale Ale (absolutely QUALITY pale that). However, the beer may not have been the best idea. I was already feeling less than 100% before that.

Image

I have been able to do a little more since that, but there has been a major bump in the road. My EZ line has just vanished off the face of the earth. I've looked everywhere
I tried substituting stocking thread but it's a disaster. There is no way I can do monofilament in a blitz and have it tensioned. So I have gone with stretched sprue, but that takes extra time to make.

Image

I'll be honest, I'm not sure about the future of this blitz. We'll see....

When I worked in a pub we had one regular who drank Kaliber (alcohol free lager) shandies......never did find out what his motivation for that was!!!
Best wishes

You can do this VV. You have the technology.

Well people, thankyou for your encouragement but the unfortunate news is that this one didn't make it.

Not long after the last update, I crashed out completely on the couch. I didn't expect to feel crook in the middle of the blitz. It Feeling mostly ok now - probably the 12 or so hours of sleep that did it....

I'll try to finish off the Camel this evening and post it up in the aviation forum.

I'll leave you with this last song:

That sounds like a desperate cry for help to me. That man's problems sound to have been so deeply rooted there may have been no solution to them at all...
