Flies Right Off The Ground (and into the bin) DNF
I'm home writing essays today... so might as well get back in the blitzing saddle after the last DNF.
I guess everyone has heard about the sexy new Zoukei-Mura Ta152 in 1/32?
This isn't it.
1970 FROG kit in Revell box? Oh, yes.
Smooth!
Good lord, man, have you had some sort of horrible accident with gamma radiation?
Chunky!
stencils, eh? Suuuuuure.
Underway in ten minutes or so..

Are you going to add the missing detail?!!! As in all of it!!!
It's a bit sparse ain't it!

Re: Flies Right Off The Ground (and into the bin) UNDERWAY
OK.. checking in
Ver lot was primed with Hu 27 out of a rattlecan and detached from sprues.
Here's that interior detail in all its glory..
Brushed on a coat of RLM 76 while waiting for bits of the pilot to dry.
I keep forgetting to buy Acrylic RLM 70 so used Vallejo 021, as ever.
I think I'm going to make this an in-flight model.. for display space reasons as much as anything else.
I dry fitted the wings and the fuselage and it ain't bad at all.. I don't think I've built a FROG kit before. This one seems basic but neat.
Just realised I forgot the clock in the pics. Doan whup me, Jeff.
More soon
It's proved to be a Pavement sort of morning

Where we at...
Forgot to mention, the first beer I made went successfully into bottles the other day.. it's now conditioning (getting a bit fizzy) and I may open one up today to check progress. The second beer is still fermenting. I dry-hopped it with another 30g of Citra yesterday.
Back to working on essay..

The kit is not quite up there with my favourite Dragon -190 series kits. But an objet d'art all the same
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

Despite some heavy fettling, there do be wing-root gaps that will require some PPP
Which they did, indeed, receive..
As you can tell from the clock this was a while ago.. more pics shortly once some paint dries.

Just caught up with this. Nice work on a bit of classic kittery. Nice one. My favourite version of the 190 too.
All the best.

0630 wake up and you are well underway. On the road but will be watching.

Uh oh. We have a case of high altitude raiders and the lost Arc. Hopefully all is going well.
