Your wish is my command OT.

I have added a light oil wash to the panel lines, these should lighten up as they dry.

A pleasant couple of hours at the bench has got some decals laid down followed but some exhaust staining.

Airfix have been quit thoughtful and included decals for the grills and fire extinguisher points that are often missed by manufacturers, so one point goes to Airfix.

kit comparison

Interior Airfix wins
Exterior Revell wins
Sand filter Revell wins
Undercarriage Airfix win by default (but might loose when they release the RAF version)
Decals Airfix win on quality and design
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Nice exhaust staining. Good idea of Airfix to include those grilles as decals too.

Hi David sorry but I think this will be a DNF as I have too much on, I had planned to spend yesterday and today at the bench but visitors put pay to that.

I managed to work on the front step today but don't won't to rush the rest, so I will finish it in my workbench thread.

You can have a few more days if you prefer that to DNF, Splash.

Unfortunately whoever designed the grill decals hadn't had their morning coffee because they've render the mesh as black rather then the holes in between! Doh!

Love the steps; that's some nice scratch-work indeed!

Good spot by James as well on the grills.....Image

On the other hand that's a very useful reference picture Image
Best wishes

Well spotted James, it also raises the question if they used LIDAR to map the a/c profile and detail how did it miss the grill?
