just as a comparison with another half-finished project, my TSR2 (been like this for a few months..). As you can see the MiG isn't far off in size.

Looks much better with the nose on! I'm falling foul of fit issues myself on this GB.

You're very quiet. Hopefully your getting along OK as the Mig-25 is such a spectacular looking machine.

Sorry work has taken over a fair bit (lovely 70 hr week of nights up to last weekend) but I now have air intakes fitted so technically a complete airframe...the sanding and filling effort is to begin Hope you all have shares in Polyfiller! Sorry its too scary for pictures:( this is definitely a close call.

Don't you just hate how real life keeps intruding on the really important stuff of modelling ;-) .

Sorry to hear you've been overworked. I hope you have strength left for sanding.

Quick update...got a good start with the major job of sanding and filling... Then I manage to drop it off a shelf! Damage nothing major with a wing loosened. I had to remove it completely and reset it so now I'm leaving it over night to dry. Not looking great to complete tomorrow TBH. :(

John says we can extend a bit - do you need a few extra days?

If no one has a problem I'd happily take an offer of extra time. I'm working day shifts this week so I have my evenings to get this brute finished!

Yes definitely achievable and appreciated. Still sanding away so I can at least get a priming layer on later.

Ok, this is the state of play tonight...I have jet pipes and undercarriage fitted...no wheels but they are painted and ready.
Major bit of painting tomorrow!

Got some airbrushing done this evening but still alot to do! Not had time to do any pictures...an extra issue I found is despite a mild soap was paint coverage has been a nightmare as it just seems to still have a greasy surface.
