It want to become an A-10 when it grows up, and apparently, those can take ridiculous amount of lead.. :ha:

Seriously though, I'll have to keep this in mind if ever I get down to building the one in the stash (a much newer tool Academy, which should build easier, but with the same horrible balance).

Good work so far, you clearly don't need the better tooling to make a Bronco.

Here it is with two coats of Gull Gray on the top of the main wing and all undersides.

Last thing I did yesterday was to get the canopy fitted. A bit fiddly but not too bad. I did the windscreen first, then each side panel, then the top part. I had to reduce the length and width of the top part a bit then it went in and was prepared to stay. I used some EMA glue on a brush to glue it.
I tried the kit decals. They were useless. Some broke up, some refused to come off the backing. So I eventually cobbled up a the decals needed for a Marines Bronco from my spares. This evening was spent putting on decals, adding final details and touching the paint.

Very smart build Fred, that's a heck of a load out for such a small aircraft!
Best wishes

A beautiful job. Very well done. I only hope mine looks even half as good as yours when done.

All the best.
