The matt varnish on the Beaufighter clouded a bit.
But I'm calling it "weathering" and not doing anything about it!
There would be a good chance of making things worse, if I did. So it's time to stop.
But it's still turned out much better than I had hoped for.
Great suggestion by Martin to change the wing dihedral. Which I wasn't sure I could pull off
Thanks for everyone's comments.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Very nice looking Beaufighter, although I'm not a fan of that particular nose.

It's a shame they didn't mould the radome as a separate piece. Getting it the right size would also have helped! You can get a resin replacement, but that would cost more than the kit!Clashcityrocker wrote:Very nice looking Beaufighter, although I'm not a fan of that particular nose.

The fit is okay, so it builds well from the box, but the shapes and dimensions are off.ronbow wrote:You have done a nice job with a (if I remember rightly) not a very nice old kit.

That has come out very nicely, well worth the additions you made.
