This is a single-type GB of the Harrier -- any kit, any scale, any variant, any markings - but no whiffs.

This GB started from a thread here.

The GB runs from April 1st to May 1st; your GBL is FredK who will fill in any other info.

Will be a few days late but will begin after finishing my spitfire GB builds with the new tool Airfix GR.1 as XV741 of the Harrier Conversion Flight modelled as it appeared during the 1969 Daily Mail Transatlantic Air Race.

I'll be building the old Matchbox Sea Harrier, with a few more modern upgrades.

I'm doing one and its stalled. I may get finishing it during this GB ~ obviously not as part of it. The Air Race Harriers had the ferry wing tips and a refuel probe as fitted to the GR3, and not the GR1 type.

I will be a late starter as we are away in the lake district for the first week. I plan to build the new tool Airfix Gr.1 OOB.

Just wondering if I could sneak this kit into the boot of the car? Lots of hiding places there.

If anyone is interested Hannants are selling Airfix Gr.3 at half price: https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AX04055

I have an Academy FRS.1,which is a reboxed Italeri, which is a reboxed ESCI. I also have a Matchbox FRS.1 which may get built at the same time.

Think I'm going to try the NT Airfix GR.3. As long as I remember to put the fan blade in this time. Unlike when I had to make emergency intake covers when I did the GR.1....
I've built all versions of the Harrier at some point or another but I want to try the NT GR.3
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Hi Guys

As your numbers look low (probably due to everyone playing over on the Spitfire GB) plus I have some spare time over the weekend to spend at the workbench. Can I come out to play in your GB?

I have a box full of different types of Harrier's and I'm sure I can find one that's calling out to be built. I will look at what I can find tonight and start my build thread tomorrow.

I need to start another kit like I need a hole in the head, but as I have several Harriers in the stash this is a good opportunity to chip away at their number. Not being ambitious I'm throwing the old Matchbox Sea Harrier into the mix.
