Looking at the colour the Tamiya Primmer has now dried to, I think I might use that as the light grey required for this a/c
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

After a second coat of primer and a coat of tamiya gloss clear I'm happy with the finish.

The kit is supplied with two nice looking Sea Eagle missiles, I tend to build my a/c clean but I like the look of these two so might fit them.

That is looking very nice now, I did get a Pavla radome for my SHAR2 cos it looked a better shape, and was cheap (£1.60)!

Really sharp Splash. Nice thread to follow also.

I thought the area behind the bang seat looked a bit sparse, so I have added a couple of bits, it's not accurate but I think it looks better, in the back ground you can see an Airfix GR3 I started last year and never got around to finishing, so I thought I would finish it off whilst building the Sea Harrier. ( I won't count it as part of the GB, it's just a byproduct) :-D

I like the bulbous nose; it has a look of the serious drinker to it!

And I'm shamelessly following your lead in using primer as the finish coat :-D 8-)
Best wishes

Looking at the two kits you can see Airfix are improving all the time, the new GR3 has a more detailed bang seat and the exhaust ducts have changed from the split down the centre to the better inner and outer split.

SH seat is on the left GR3 on the right

They make a nice looking pair. Interesting to hear your observations on Airfix improving too.

I'm about ready for the decals, I just need to make up my mind on which squadron to use, 800 has a nice red tail, 801 has chequered markings and 899 has the flying fist.
