Paul's Guard Contemplates His Naval...

A simple GB, convert one thing to another - any subject, any scale, any era, any method, but ending up with a different variant, than what the bits provide for in the box.
GB runs 16th April to 29th May and your host is Martin R.

When I first joined the Sea Cadets in the early 60's our Naval Bell Bottom Trousers had the groin flap but by the time I joined the RN in 1969 we had zip's
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Did you see the MO about that, Alan? :ha:

Well, I've bought a Frenchie, and Rob's bits arrived this week - many thanks, Rob! - so it's time to re-start this. 8-) But not this evening, as I'm otherwise occupied...

You've been very quiet lately, Mr B. Got another book on? :-)

No book, but I've been a bit busy with other stuff recently, and - frankly - I really haven't felt like modeling over the past month or so. I go through periods like this, but I'll be back at the bench, beavering away, at some point. It is just frustrating until that point..... :frown:

Well, I thought I'd feel like modelling over this long weekend her, but I didn't. So I'll have to call this an incompletion - basically, I never really got started... However, this is going to be part of the CBK display at Telford, so it will get done at some point.
