Excellent work on the armour.

What is a MIMIC belt?

Alan the mimic is the square thing on the front of the tank, it is for disabling land mines and mimic means- Mine Interference, Magnetic Induction Coil.

I've just put the Airfix Sherman tank together so I can appreciate the effort going into this. Very good work.

My attention next turned to the turret starting with the reactive armour cladding

That done I then began to add the other details to the turret made from Evergreen strip, plastic card and stretched sprue although the bustle stowage basket was made using Aber 09 mesh.

You are making it harder and harder to believe that you started with the Airfix Centurion kit.

This is an excellent demonstration of what can be done without spending a fortune on add on parts, just plastic card, simple tools and a bucket load of skill.

It's looking brilliant

The tank itself is now almost complete- the only thing that remains to be made is the dozer blade prior to final weathering.

Time is running short and making the dozer blade has taken up too much time, also I found more pictures of the AVRE whilst looking for images of the ARV mk2 which gave me more details that need including. This is the blade as it stands now.

Awesome work David. As said, I can't believe it is a 1/76 kit. Perfection in miniature.

All the best.
