Chuck's original BUFF, converting B-52D into XB-52 *Finished

A simple GB, convert one thing to another - any subject, any scale, any era, any method, but ending up with a different variant, than what the bits provide for in the box.
GB runs 16th April to 29th May and your host is Martin R.

Super build and conversion work! Your NMF looks a treat too
Best wishes

Excellent work and a pleasure to follow the thread.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Thanks. Why it will live alongside my B-52D, Vickers Valiant, and BV222, hanging from the ceiling in my model room. The nice thing about the Monogram kit is that includes attachment points for tying the thread and hanging it up.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Very good, quite interesting !

For some reason the tandem cockpit reminded me of an F-14 in Top Gun, maybe you could hang it upside down over top one of the others :)

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

And for that special spot in my model room. I have the XB-52 climbing for altitude!

Since the Monogram kit has attachment points in the wing and fuselage for string for hanging. Why not use them? :)
