Andrew's Kiwi Strikemaster

Our 2nd "Lesser Represented Countries" GB with a slight change to allow any subject, not just aircraft. You must sign up for the specific country and there are no duplicates in this GB and a modeler cannot do the same country(s) as in the previous one.
GB runs 16th May - 19th June and your host is FredK.

Thanks. It's had a coat of matt varnish, so the undercarriage can go on. Then I need to do the nose light, and redo the paint on the canopy frame.

Looks very different in the three colour SEA camo.

For some reason, I got a total block on putting the undercarriage on this kit.

The front wheel doors are more like huge planks, so I'm making more from some thinner plastic card.

The canopy framing and nose light remain to be fixed.

The canopy framing has been touched up, and awaits the cocktail stick of doom for final trimmng.

The nose gets a clingfilm light cover, stuck on with clingfilm.

Fingers crossed on this. Nosewheel doors need more paint.
