Stuart's Kazakhstan(ey) SU-27

Our 2nd "Lesser Represented Countries" GB with a slight change to allow any subject, not just aircraft. You must sign up for the specific country and there are no duplicates in this GB and a modeler cannot do the same country(s) as in the previous one.
GB runs 16th May - 19th June and your host is FredK.

I have actually started but I'm lacking in pics at the moment. Currently I'm trying to sort out the rather un-inspiring cockpit :roll:

And here're the decals I'll be using.

I've painted the basic colours in the pit but there is nothing much picture worthy at present.

The detail is so poor I'll be adding the pilot to fill the space somewhat.

Any ideas as to what Soviet flight gear looked like?
