Arc's Avro
Ok, time to play catch -up. Avro 504k in IAC colours is first on the menu. Photos to follow, as I'm away from me PC. It's the oldie-but-goodie Airfix 1/72. Decals by Max.
Is this your sanderling?.

Still alive... and I've not been entirely idle...
Here's the subject.... an oldie but goodie
parts, such as they are...
It appears that the skid and the rear elevator support are missing.. I bought two of these at the time, so I have backup, but must get on to Kingkit...
It's old, ill-fitting and pretty basic, but I like it. The decals on this boxing, alas, have not stood the test of time.
No harm, no foul: it's an IAC version, so I turn to my trusty Max Decals set...
This post is picture heavy enough, I've made considerable progress while offline.. to follow

Re: Arc's Avro
...and here's where we're at. Fuselage needed some serious work along the seams due to warping and the less said about how the underside looks the better. Fit if lower wing was pretty poor, too, and took some fettling.
But we're getting there... after an aborted attempt to put the cabanes on first, I switched the angle of attack and put the wing struts on in opposed pairs. Went pretty well. Rigging is prepped so just need to let the struts get a good, solid cure and we'll be moving along smartly.
