Thanks guys!
I've restarted work on the Tu-16 Badger.
Looking at her and the poor quality job I did on the joins I must have been in a bad place at the time!
I've resealed the fuselage, engine, nose and wing joins and made the whole thing look slightly better and a lot stronger.

I was looking through my workbench and found a post listing all my Cold War models.
Wow things have changed and I will post a new list here:

Cold War models completed so far:
Academy Cessna U.S Air Force A-37B Dragonfly
Airfix Royal Air Force English Electric Lightning F.1a
Airfix Royal Air Force Hawker Hunter T.8
Airfix U.S Marine Corps Boeing Sea Knight - RS
Matchbox Royal Navy BAE Systems Harrier FRS.1 - Weapons Test Aircraft
Matchbox Royal Saudi Air Force BAC Strikemaster
Revell Royal Air Force English Electric Canberra PR.9
Tskuda Russian Air Force Mikoyan MiG-31 Foxhound - Red 31

Currently on the work bench:
Airfix Vulcan B.2 - Will become XH558
Matchbox Harrier GR.3 - Will be painted into Royal Navy ETS Engineering School Livery
Novo Gannett
Revell Canberra
Trumpeter TU-16 Badger - Will become Red 16

"Project Sperrin" Never got off the ground and turned out to be a total flop.
This was one of many ideas I had as Cold War SIG Leader that fell flat and didnt work out.

Me too Daz, is there anything else you'd like me to bring along for the display along with my Foxhound?

The Canberra was in service in '91 so would be appropriate :)

After reading Dazzled's post about the theme for SMW17, I've been looking through and trying to gather together an optional list of builds for the display.

I have a TB-58B Hustler Trainer, I know the B-58's first flight was 1956 but it was introduced into service in 1960 according to online sources but the TB-58A was converted and flown in 1960, a year after a slightly flexible deadline but would this fit the bill?

Impressive as it would undoubtedly be Mav, I'm afraid that it falls outside the cut off date. Shame it's not a standard B-58.

Ok mate no worries, unfortunately I bought it off chris because it was a Trainer.
And it was quarter of the price of the standard Italeri B-58.
Il keep searching as I know the Tu-22 Blinder and B-47 that I have will be too big going off our conversation for this year's display.

Size doesn't matter for 2017 mate ;-)

Build a B-47 if you like and I'll build a B-50 to sit next to it :)

Daz that would be awesome!
Do you mean the rebuilt B-29 (B-50) or the B-52?

The B-50 Superfortress. I picked up an Academy kit at the Belgian Nationals last month.

If I thought we had enough space I'd make it a B-36 ;-)
