Other Cold War Models

Post by Falcon »

One from me that doesn't fit into NATO or Warsaw Pact but actually covers both sides.

That is a nice set. Very well built too. Nice one Chris.

All the best.

It is a very rare kit and usually go for silly money whenever they pop up on Ebay.

I was given the complete kit free of charge by one of my mates with just one condition - it got built.

And it did the following week.

It tends to be used at most of the shows as the centrepiece for the display.

A great kit, well worth an updated re-release, in my opinion.
We came so close.

I just said ''If they had, we would not be here right now''.

He kinda got the message and we had a chat regarding the destructive power of the nukes.

Bloody good job they never let those fireworks off!! Interesting kit though and one I've never seen before either. Nicely done.

For the 1/144 clan, Crown's B-52 came with a complete arsenal of nukes. Two Hounddog's, 4 Skybolts, 12 SRAM's plus the decoy Quail. I have most of them in the bottom of my spares tote.

Maybe a little dio in the making.
