A Telford Theme Update

Post by Dazzled »

Having looked at the practicalities of producing a themed display this year, and consulted with the most active members of the SIG I've decided that the theme should be abandoned in favour of a generalised Cold War Display. I'd like to thank everyone who has already built models for this year's SMW and your models will, of course, still be most welcome on the display table.

The main issue is that there are too few of us building for the theme. It's mainly myself and Kitaholic doing the majority of the building. Tom W has disappeared off the face of the planet (And myself and Mrs Dazzled are quite worried about him) and he was one of our biggest contributors. So, in short Kitaholic and I have given up on the theme and are restoring our severely dented mojos by building towards a generic Cold War display.

After all, the Cold War is our theme.

Wherever there's danger, wherever there's trouble, wherever there's important work to be done....I'll be somewhere else building a model!

Sad to hear Tom has disappeared!
Really hope he's ok and just taking a break from it all.
I'm still going to be building the B-47 and Valiant and will bring around 2 huge boxes full of models.

I am sure Tom is fine. Last time I saw him, he had lost a lot of weight and turned into a babe magnet, so he probably has a girlfriend by now and hopefully has his hands tied and other activities for his spare time, than those that use 50 shades of Humbol grey
