Double that ! Wish the toy kit were as formidable; it would go great here. With our winds, it should move smartly, scare tourists, some of whom are nervous about ghost crabs

I'd imagine a whole fleet (armada?) of the models would go some way to achieving the same effect :-D :-D

They are now being 3D printed as working miniatures.......

I really cannot keep up with technology nowadays.... :???: :-D
Best wishes

'Eskimo' is really looking like a destroyer when she's all set together like that. Well done!
The PE goes a long way in improvement. Sad they only include partial railing material in these kits.

And so it goes on (and on, and on..... )
Progress from yesterday evening: funnels and island glued into place, main mast assembled and fitted, various weaponry added and PE ladders and rails ditto. There can't be much more to add now surely?

Cheers guys; I'm hoping that final painting and weathering will help to obscure some of the blemishes that the phone camera picks up only too well!

I'm on the home straight now though (famous last words  ), and pretty much all that needs to be bolted down now is; main armament is still put to one side but additional guardrails are in progress.....not the easiest of tasks, but with a splash of paint I think they'll do!

Looking really good now !!
It's interesting how much your Tribal looks like my "H"-class and in fcat the whole A-I/Tribal family.

BTW, I just got one of those mini-strandbeests....

Excellent! I hope you enjoy both the build, and the life that the completed kit seems to take on! :-D

Thanks for the kind comments folks; we have had a busy weekend, and not much time for modelling, but I did get a little more paint on. Now all that is left is the hull bottom and boot line (which I may use decals for!), plus a little weathering and (of course) rust
