Painting began with the obligatory grey primer, followed by the three main colours. This aircraft was camouflaged at the factory using American equivalents to the MAP colours. I found wartime colour images of similar aircraft in this scheme and picked the nearest colours from my paint stocks. The underside grey was a slightly darkened shade of Revell Light Grey 76, the upper colours were Revell gunship Grey 74 and Humbrol olive Drab 155.

The full-size aircraft had it's factory applied temporate roundels overpainted with slate Grey in order that BPF markings could be applied in their place, as a guide for this I applied low viz roundels from the spares box and then overpainted then ready for the BPF roundels.

With the decals all in place this is how the model looked at the end of the GB, things are quite busy at work this week so the last steps to complete the model cannot be made until Saturday and so I will declare this a very close DNF.
