Now have the upper surfaces painted Polly Scale Blue Grey. Progress remains steady even though real life kicks in from time to time.

Just a small update today. Been going around the airframe with various shades of Blue grey to break up the monotone finish. Bougainville Corsairs were not very clean. About to gloss it up and get ready for decals. Then the next doe of weathering.

Decaling is now complete. Tamiya Vitachrome over Future. The decals essentially have no carrier film along the edges. And as you can see the stenciling is readable under magnification.

One more glossing coat to even out the decals and than shoot it with dull coat.

You can expect a great building experience with a Tamiya. This sure was. A pretty good cure for lost modeling mojo.
