Gregs turn to 'pony up'

Post by Gregers »

Just a marker for my build. Don't know if it's the same where ever you live but in Leeds where I grew up we used the term 'pony up' meaning time to pay, be it your round in a pub or what ever.

I am planning on doing P51B 'Short Fuse Sallee' flown by Captain Richard Turner,

All the best.

There is a possibility. I do have several P51's to go at, including Frog/Novo, Hasegawa, Academy, Airfix new and old tool and Matchbox. I've just dug out a box with a couple of old tool Airfix P51D/K's to rob for the K's propeller to go on the Matchbox kit. HMMM that Swedish scheme looks nice......

All the best.

Matchbox, P51K 'DOOLEYBIRD'

Airfix. X2 P51D's 1X Swedish and 1X Russian

All the best.

Ok folks. Firstly sorry for lack of updates and progress, I've mislaid my camera and have tried holding off building until I find it. I still haven't found it but have managed to get my phone camera and this laptop 'talking'. Here are a few pics of the current state of builds. I'm having to pull one of the Airfix builds out as one of the tailplanes is also missing. That leaves me with three to go at, one Hobbyboss, One Matchbox and one Airfix. Here's the state of play as of about an hour ago.

Since these the tailplanes are on the Airfix and HB ones and the wing tops are on both the Airfix ones. If I find the Airfix tailplane soon that may still be in the running.
Sorry about the picture quality - or lack of.

All the best
