Hey Daz, I saw this one in the Aviation Museum in Malta four years ago.
OK, so it's a Mk.IXc and not a Vb - but the colours are the same as yours, and it was rescued from a scrapyard on Malta itself. I have more close up photos if they might help.

For my build I will be building this:

but finishing it as this:

on the grounds that I have both kits but started the F-15E years ago and stuffed it up but still have the decals and armament etc. and the F-15A is the same mould more of less anyway as it actually came out before the F-15E kit.
I need to get this one done for Farnborough Show in September so it won't be a leisurely build for me!

That would be good, ta! :)

My mate has sat in that Spitfire. By all accounts it's a great little museum.

I am torn (little paper modellers inside joke...  ) between choices...I did say I was going to restart the big TSR.2 and that's still a possibility but someone sowed the seed of a large scale maritime build for this GB and I keep coming back to this...
Image
...but I have to be brutally honest say that the base is the big attraction at the moment:
Image
....and in locating the parts for that, I exposed myself these...
Image
...and...
Image...
...and they bullied me into being contenders as well...

Sleeping on it...would prefer one long build I think...

Wow ! I had to Google the Flettner because I didn't realize the "kit" cover showed 2 machines. That would be neat and I'd welcome the turret base as part of the GB if that helps you decide.

Thanks, John, the Flettners it is...I didn't think I'd need much of a nudge but the bigger ones were starting to gang up on me...

Of course it's OK, and that's why it is leisurely .... OTOH, my experience ordering from Poland is that you won't spend much time waiting ...
