Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Looks interesting, Splash...I haven't seen this publisher before but there is a build review here: http://www.sklejmy.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... sc&start=0;

It's always good to know that it's doable before you start the journey...

I looked at that review today, he has also published a thread on the papermodels.com website, there was no mention of Laser cut card on the eBay page I bought it from and it was cheap so I will just have to wait and see.

As a back up plan, I have just bought a Fa.223 as a download, I suspect it will be far to hard for me with my limited card building experience, but card is cheap and it's quick and easy to replace parts that don't work, nothing ventured nothing gained :-D

You lot are making me feel inadequate....I can't even decide what lump of plastic to attack for this GB and everyone else is attacking other media! :shock: :-D
I need to go out to the garage and commune with the stash for a while; about two bottles of bitter worth should do it and I'll be able to come up with a choice I'm sure :grin:
Best wishes

Jim

Ummm...aren't you the modeller who built a modern RN warship around the fuselage of a WW1 biplane...? :lol: :lol: :lol:

The Marek models have a pretty good rep...don't think I have any to comment on specifically but I have seen a lot of them built at papermodelers.com...I think you will be able to beat it into submission fairly quickly...

Would a commissioned build be acceptable?

I ask because someone has asked me to build them a 1/32 Spitfire, and I think this would be a quicker build than the 1/24 version is at the moment!

It meets the GB requirements; you can work on the 1/24 while paint/glue dry on the *smaller* version. :grin:

Bought this one a while back, but as it's mostly built up for you, I didn't think it would count! :ha:

It's the witching hour, so to speak, but there's a few of us still muddling along and not much else happening, so I'll leave this open for a while, or we can each finish up in Aircraft (I see Rob already shifted operations there).

Regardless, carry on.
