Right. Back from visiting the steam railways of Yorkshire and Wales and now time to crack on. Might need a few days grace though.

Great pics. What class is the black loco?. And is there as much of a tilt in reality as it appears in the last photo?.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I don't know what class it is but I suspect it's an ex LMS Blackie Taper, from the shape of the boiler
Best wishes

Right. Back on topic. All major rigging is done and the tail is finally painted and fixed to fuselage. Next up rigging the tail assembly.

Right, back off topic (last time honest). The black loco is a BR Standard 4MT 4-6-0.

Yup. Whilst I was there being pulled by a Black 5 it expired briefly. Something to do with the boiler not priming itself so the guard said. Soon got going on again amid much huffing puffing and steam.

A lot more done. U/C on and rear rigging fitted. Lewis gun painted but might need some attention as I over weathered it. Top wing decals applied. These are really awful and far too thick to soften even after copious amounts of Microsol resulting in them breaking up rather moulding themselves to the features. Again something to address before finishing up.
