Before I forget, if anyone else has this kit in the stash, and is contemplating building it, keep an eye on the undercarriage legs. For some reason, Revell have seen fit to mould the top of the leg separate from the rest, which means it's an inherent weak spot.

You can do two things here - either make sure the gear leg is well cured before fitting it onto the model, or change the undercarriage legs to a suitable alternative.

Needless to say, I did neither, and have had to try to repair the damage to the port-side leg! Fingers crossed it holds this time!

No worries, mate.

Incidentally, I may have just ordered another one of these, and the 1/32 Mosquito, for less than £30.

Just the stencils to go on, then the prop, pitot tube and canopy to be fixed on, and a final coat of varnish....!

Must admit, while I'm quite glad it's finished, I'm quite sad to have to let it go. It came out pretty nicely in the end. I hope the new owner will like it!

I've just been telling a mate on Facebook that I'll have to get another one so I can do P7350 in one of the 603 Squadron schemes from that decal sheet (EXCELLENT decals, by the way!).

That said, I saw a conversion set on eBay the other day that would turn a Mk.II into a low-back Mk.XVI. That is also very tempting.... ;-)

Lovely job! I'd be interested in seeing you do the low-back, though.
