This was going to be my Blitz weekend but I've come down with fairly heavy Man Cold and Mrs V insisted I rest properly and not stay up half the night blitzing like I normally would - I mean she's right, it is Man Cold so it could well be fatal  .

Probably just as well. I took out the Celica kit for a more leisurely build on it and hit it with some black rattle can. The result was some nasty orange peel that could take a bit of work to undo. That would not have made for happy blitzing times.
Must.....build....ALL the Sopwith Camels!...

Man flu can be deadly. Need lots of fluid intake and hot pies, stew or curry to burn it out.

Last couple of days chaps.
If I'm to try another I need to start it now-ish as I'm out and away from mid-morning Wednesday.

Despite my good intentions to get a blitz done this time, real life as ever got in the way....but it's been really enjoyable to see all the entries and thanks to all for taking part and to Fred for marshaling events!
Best wishes

Agreed with everyone it's been another awesome Summer Blitz and my personal best so far, If I had finished the Harrier my count would have been 4!
I'm looking forward to Blitzbau XX already!
Thanks to all involved for making it so good!

Thank you Fred for running a top notch Blitzbau. Totally enjoyable.

Just waiting till two finishers are put into the Gallery.
No names, no blame, but they're from the Blitzbau House

21 finished
3 DNF
1 DNS
With three builders each doing three models
A pretty good effort all round

Just curious. What is the highest number of kits finished for the Blitzbau?

Thats a pretty good tally
Not bad. Anyone keep records and know what the record number of completions is?
We're kinda running at average to good.
Just for the heck of it I just went through the past Blitzes and just counted the finished models in the Galleries. There may have been one or two finished but not put in the Gallery of that Blitz.
Blitz #1. = 10 finished
Blitz #2. = 12
Blitz #3. = 9
Blitz #4. = 22
Blitz #5. = 13
Blitz #6. = 16
Blitz #7. = 9
Blitz #8. = 6
Blitz #9. = 11
Blitz #10 = 21
Blitz #11 = 33
Blitz #12 = 44
Blitz #13 = 12
Blitz #14 = 26
Blitz #15 = 17
Blitz #16 = 10
Blitz #17 = 13
Blitz #18 = 11
Blitz #19 = ??
