Your aircraft - Farnborough 1988 (apologies for the quality = a scan of a print I took over 30 years ago with a very basic SLR camera)
This was a none flying mock up if I remember correctly, but I may be wrong.

Cheers Al.

EDIT - also found the album from 2 years earlier, where I saw the EAP flying (but got no other photos sadly) and what I believe is the same mock up as above in a garish red/white colour scheme.

Thanks Fred, I'll call it clever then  .
Beany, thanks for those pics, that's some excellent stuff. I have the much maligned Pegasus EAP to do so might return to look the those. Also have the Revell JF90, not sure if they would pass for the EFA but those paint schemes are appealing to build!. Here is the situation at of now (18:51), forgot to put the clock in this one. I am suffering from the curse of slow drying, Gloss enamels. It may scupper the build but the model is in what sun we have left today to try and speed up the drying process.

I have to put some darker grey (Hum 165) on the fin top and add the decals and cockpit canopy and she's all but done. At least the tail decals won't need varnish first as they're going on gloss paint.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Firstly my apologies for not keeping this more on an hourly update basis, keep plodding along building then think "oops, pics on the forum!".
Here is 8:33PM

And about five minutes later. It's whatever the clock says, believe it or not I'm still really bad at telling the time without a digital display!!

I would like to call this one done, although I haven't put her on her stand as the paint is still sticky!, should have used matt black or acrylic and gloss varnished it. Oh well, live and mostly learn!!. :-D Glamour shots will probably have to wait until Tuesday as I'm on holiday from both my part time jobs (!) so am heading to Duxford with dad for a day there.

Good job mate. Lessons learned no doubt - like go for faster drying acrylics rather than enamels next time - but that's all to the good. I learned that the hard way myself long ago in one of the first Blitzbaus and have never looked back since.
Good effort

I agree for a Blitz faster drying paint would be a plus, but I have always used enamels and it's all I have in stock so to speak. Maybe next time I can plan the build and get the paint for it.
I've also just got back from Duxford, lot's to look at and a lot of walking!. Sally B was there, the Dragon Rapide was in and out on flights and civvy planes were arriving most of the day. Got lot's of pictures but I will only put some on here if I get a moment as I think I took hundreds!!.
P.S. they did have DA4 the Typhoon development two-seater. I think it was ZH590?. Also went in the Concorde prototype and the Trident Two.

All Typhoon kits are horrid to build; I have six (yes really, count them) 1/48 Revell kits and still didn't even finish the first. You did good. But, if Blitzbau is the USS Arizona, then enamels are a Japanese torpedo bomber. If you're brush painting, Lifecolor acrylics work really well. If you spray, you won't beat Tamiya acrylic thinned with cellulose. You'll not have time to get bored watching that paint dry.

Looks more like an Angel Interceptor than even an Angel Interceptor with that double delta wing.
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?
