Marky's EFA/Typhoon **Finished**

Post by MarkyM607 »

Not sure what to build yet, this is a place mat for the build whenever I get around to it. I have one week (next week), that I can give it a try without work distractions. Although my mum is going for an operation right in the middle of that week!. She'll want looking after I expect!. :ha:
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

yup, I think that does indeed look like a Eurofighter Typhoon now.
umm, are you going to glue the canards on individually and fixed? cos if you want them to swivel they needed to be put on before the fuselage halves were joined.
Or is that tape just temporary?
And for wheels down; don't forget lots of nose weight.
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..

Fred, the dodo in me forgot to put the canards in!  . I've released each one from the central bar that goes inside the nose and will slot them in individually. It would only be embarrassing if I hadn't already made one of these and put it in. Now it's REALLY embarrassing!!.   . I've decided to put this on a stand so no nose weight in there, Mr Pilot is there though.
Anyway, I'm back at it,

Great progress mate, and a good choice. I remember seeing the EAP and EFA, both the mock ups and the real things flying at Farnborough Airshows in '86 and '88 so I've always had a soft spot for this plane.
I have two sets of decals for that aircraft but I don't remember ever having the kit

Cheers
Al.

Looks like you are going to breeze this!
Best wishes

Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
