12Noon EDT

Put on some Tamiya Medium Sea Grey to the under surfaces and wrapped around to the top. Hopefully this will aid in putting the white on later.

Blitz lunch consumed. That's going to leave a mark.

Better part of the past hour was masking the canopy.

It's gonna leave something, that's for certain! Image

Right, I'm done in the ensuite for this evening, off up to spend the night on the boat and consume a lot of beer; hope the build carries on as well as it has so far Jeff Image
Best wishes

Paint on the upper surfaces now. Poly Scale RAAF Green. Not much left to my Polly Scale stores.

Pressing on. A little drying time before the white goes on.

Time for another cuppa joe. Maybe a Van Morrison "Latte' Dah" :ha:

1600EDT Check.

Painting essentially done now. Yes Fred, the Tamiya white has great covering properties. The masking was done with yellow FrogTape. Just like Tamiya tape.

Overall view.

Gloss coat next in prep for decaling. I will be using Future for quick drying times and the way it handles Hasegawa decals.

Gloss coat dry and decaling is done. I have landing gear doors to cut and put in place. Antenna and pitot tube to reattach and the final detail painting and dull coat.
