Glad you are feeling better!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: Mav's Sea Knight
I was out this evening.
Your time starts from where you left off.
Just as you've done.
Oh, never thought this would need nose weight.

Thanks Fredk!
No she probably didn't need nose weight I just put a weight in each corner of the fuselage to give it a heavier feel as I can't stand my own models that weigh nothing!
Ok here is were I've gotten to:
Cockpit, rotors and landing gear have been painted, fuselage closed and cockpit glued in.
Il pick this one up again in the morning.
Gives the green stuff and glue chance to dry.

Re: Mav's Sea Knight
Thanks Old_Tonto!
So I started again at 14:30pm after a visit to the Newark Air Museum for motivation.
Here is my biggest home made cornflake cake yet!
And yet again my entertainment will be the Olympic Running and Riding.
So here is the progress after just over an hour:
The fuselage isn't in the pic as it was drying in the paint shop.
Then another pic after another "just over an hour" session:
With the paint dry, landing gear legs on and everything painted ready to go on I'm about to motor on as we have a 21:00pm screening of Suicide Squad to go to!
Hope you all like my progress!

Re: Mav's Sea Knight
No not yet, I needed them open so I could use a piece of sprew to hang the body out to dry after spreying the grey paint on it.
Here is the progress at 18:15pm:
Landing gear is finished, my first attempt at masking a canopy like this went as well as a first attempt could, slight dodgy areas but I'm happy with the overall look, the canopy has also been glued on and the first layer of klear has been applied.

Looking good, how are you going to add the side windows?
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Re: Mav's Sea Knight
Well I was going to cut them so they're individual circles then slide them in from the outside but that will happen another day as I'm calling it finished for now!
I managed to finish by 21:33 which is only 3 mins over!
Please excuse the gap at the top of the front windows.
This is another issue that will be fixed another day!
C&c welcome as always.
