A Blitzbau of the First Order * Complete *
Just a placeholder for now. If all goes well, I'll join in sometime tomorrow morning. Any guesses as to what it will be?
Regards, Tony

Re: A Blitzbau of the First Order
Gonna get started shortly. Looking at a 7 AM start. The wife and daughter have just left on an excursion to New York City, specifically, the Liberty City Comic-Con. So, it's a good time for a blitz. As for the subject, Rob got it right. This is the BanDai First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter. Picked it up yesterday at TerrifiCon, and convention held this weekend in Connecticut.
I have seen the posts here on some of the other BanDai kits, and I am quite impressed with the quality of the kit!! Not one bit of flash and sharp details. This will be OOB and should be a fairly quick build.
Sprue shots to follow shortly.

Just about 10:30 and calling it complete. These BanDai kits scream for detailing, even though they are already excellent in detail. Maybe in the future I'll do something more with this. I'll post glamour shots soon, weather is not so good today.

It wasn't a high parts count kit, and no painting or detailing, so it was just a quick and fun build.rob_van_riel wrote:Three and a half hours. I wonder if that's a local record..
