Martin's Beaux

Re: Martin's Beaux
Paul,
Many thanks, the blurs have arrived safely. I am also making progress on the Beaux. Painting is complete on the Airfix. I need to drill a hole for the mount and then add the transparencies. The Mark I has had the sky finished. Onto the DSG now. Pics tonight.
Regards
Martin

Latest progress:
The big Beau has had a 4mm hole drilled and it sits nicely on its supporting acrylic rod. However, the 2mm rod is too flexible for the little Beau, so I've ordered some 3mm rod, instead.
Will add some stencils on the big Beau, then get on to more weathering / chipping. Currently working on prop blurs and smaller details.
Regards
Martin

Thanks, Tom.
Here's where we are with some light coats of different shades of grey and a dark brown panel line wash.

Brilliant weathering. Really brings out the detail.

Thanks Dazzled,
Here's the big Beau after a coat of satin varnish and the prop blurs added. Just need to add the exhausts and nav light covers.
