Re: Martin's Beaux
So, the 1/144 Mark I Beau Mk X. Nice box art and 4 colour choices:
Then the nice plastic parts, clear pieces (including nav lights) and resin armed observer's canopy, and the resin bits for a Mk X.
(Incidentally I bought a couple of the earlier standard Mk Ic kits with no resin. I contacted Mark I and asked whether they'd sell me a couple of the resin sets to upgrade these to Mk X standard. The owner has said he'll send me them for free if I keep buying their kits! Cracking customer service! I requested he tool up a 1/144 Mosquito and Spitfire Mk XIV. His response: we're considering both!)
And here's the limited progress made to date:

You should. It's a lovely little kit. For a limited run offering, the fit has been exemplary.

Latest progress:
Almost time for a scoosh of primer to see what's what. I also need to get painting the aircrew.
The larger one will have neither rockets nor torpedo; the smaller will have rockets if I can source them.
Tom,
I have not yet drilled out the mounting holes. Do you want to do that when you've got more of an idea how you want to place them?
Finally, prop blurs. Anyone got any further info?
Regards
