Enter the Huntress *** FINISHED ***

A Whiffery GB for any type of model. Simple decal changes, mild surgery or major. But all must have a story to back it up, no matter how silly or unbelievable.
The GB runs from 15 Sep through 16 Oct, and your host is FredK.

Finished and a whole day to spare!

The decals are from the Mbox Lightning with the serial 'R' changed to a 'P' ( my apologies to the real XP773 which was noble DH Beaver! ). The Firestreaks are from the Frog Javelin and are rather nice representations.

Hawker Huntress F1 XP773 , 74 Squadron, RAF Coltishall late 1963.

Here's a couple to show the contrast to the Hunter (this is the old Frog F1).

Brilliant! Yet another build in this GB that looks like it should have been! That's an inspired whif and brilliantly executed to boot!
Best wishes

Yes, I see the F105 likeness and also, in profile, the nose area kept reminding me of the F104.
