I found this squashed under some biplanes. I bought it months ago just for this GB and forgot about it.
An Avia BH3.
I'll do the scheme on the right. It'll match my 1/48 BH11
The decals [or the glue] have yellowed. They'll need to spend time under my UV lamp. I might try to paint the national markings. I have decals of different Czech squadrons as well.
Not a lot of parts

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Re: A Stripey Czech
A period under my UV light and the yellow on the decals has gone.
A start made, not a lot to show really; cockpit done, some white pain on the wings and rudder - no point showing you that as its white paint on white plastic
The fuselage is together and a bit of fillers hardening.
Maybe more later when the wings are on.

Off to a good start there Fred. I like these little low wing Avias. I made the 1/48 BH-11 a while back. Neat and simple.

Re: A Stripey Czech
I got the wings on with the V struts. But the struts are too short and give the wings too much dihedral. I need to sort that out.
Sorry; everything is in abeyance for a few days. I have 80-90 1/76 French Napoleonic soldiers to paint up and get to someone in England asap. I hope to have them done and in the post before next weekend. Then its back to this.

I'm sorry I didn't build anything as I wished.
Things just didn't go to plan and these last two weeks I've been concentrating on builds promised for showing at SMW.
I'll do this in my Workbench thingy thread after I get back from Telford
