Looking forward to seeing this progress, It's a neat little kit, at least, when i built it I liked it.

Re: Willy's Messerschmitt
Work has commenced. First up were the wings which then had the interior added.
The fuselage has been assembled too. I'll fit the side windows after the surrounding area has had a coat of paint.
More soon.

Seconded! Bit often you see wings complete with undercarriage but without fuselage!MDT wrote:Interesting engineering on this kit...looking good!

Re: Willy's Messerschmitt
Some progress (at last). It has been given a coat of paint, the prop has been fitted and the canopy masked off.
One of the side windows has gone AWOL so I'll have to make a replacement but apart from that it's been a pretty straightforward build.

Re: Willy's Messerschmitt
Thanks MDT.
I made a replacement window from some clear plastic sheet and painted the canopy frame. I was pleased with the results after removing the masking tape. A coat of Klear later and it was time for the decals, which went on without any problems.
There are only a few little jobs to do so it will be finished tomorrow evening.

That's delightful!
I still can't see that aircraft without picturing James Garner and Donald Pleasance.......

Re: Willy's Messerschmitt
Thanks for the comments. I finished it off this evening.
A nice little kit that went together well. I may have to get another so that I can use the last option on the decal sheet.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.
