Thanks John. Finally have found a solution for the scallops on the landing gear. Pictures tomorrow.

A little late on this update but good progress continues.
The forward wing struts and landing gear braces are attached.
The scallops on the landing gear gave me fits. I finally cut the scallops with a punch and die set into very thin sheet stock. Clamped them on the parts with micro clothes pins and shot the paint. Removed the mask and all looked fine. That is until I noticed something was just not right. The scallops faced the wrong way. Inward instead of outward. So cutting new masks and trimming them the correct direction I re-shot the paint. Not perfect but much better looking.

Getting ready to wrap this one up. Control cables and a couple horizontal stabilizer struts to go. The wheels will need Bare Metal foil on the hubs as they are polished like moons on a hot rod.

That is going to look lovely!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: The Golden Age of Sport Aviation
Finished with the man construction and with any kind of luck today will get the control cables and remaining braces on.
This morning's efforts.
Wheels were foiled, trimmed, painted and attached.
Will be attempting The Migrants sprue stretching using vinyl sprue left over from AFV tracks.
