One of my themes is the aircraft of the Chinese airforce (CNAC) used in the Sino-Japanes war of the 1930s (and extending into WW2). I used to pore over my brother's copy of Air Warfare as a kid and for some reason, this page always jumped out at me (I managed to claim the book eventually so now it's in my library
).I am gradually building everything on that page, plus a few other CNAC here and there, including the Airfix new tool Flying Tigers Hawk.
My GB entry is the Curtiss Model 68 Hawk III (why did Curtiss have to call EVERY aircraft they ever built "Hawk"?...) by Special Hobby in the scheme shown on the above page (2503), which is one of the decal options.
If I get time (unlikely, but you never know) I may start on the Dewoitine D.510 as part of this GB too.
