I think I know who would be the most scared.
I wonder if thats how Clarence became cross-eyed
2 weeks gone already.
Halfway point chaps
How are we all getting on?

I'm still busy with King Lear...
... but have managed to open the box and push a few bits together. I've taken a couple of photos but they haven't come out well, so I'll try again at some point.

Perhaps it's the story of Oberleutnant Lear?

Modern day setting. That's a genuine (deactivated) WW1 mark VI Webley in my holster there. Thing weighs a ton.

Brings back memories of doing 'Antigone' in the sixth form; all cast in white tracksuits, minimalist set all in white with a simple black back cloth.....very stark, but great fun!
Best wishes

I see Winkle Browns medals have finished up in the right location of the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton after they failed to reach their reserve at auction.

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Nice find Alan; some useful and interesting pictures there (even if the captions are typically a little 'wild'!); cheers for posting!
Best wishes

Re: Sign-up and Chat
Special notice;
Folks, this ends at the end of the 18th, only 4 full days left.
Many of you who are really trying are close, but not close enough to finishing, you may get it done, but its a lot of pressure on you at this time of year.
Various happenings are delaying your works; paint not drying, masking, business meetings, home things for this season
This is a very special GB dedicated to a unique special pilot
Rather than having a load of nearly but not quite there DNFs
Unless John R objects
I propose a long extension to the end date.
Usually if we have an extension it is 2 or 3 days maximum.
I propose we end this at the end of December 23rd
Thats an extra 5 days
I know its much more than usual, but then was not Capt Brown unusual?
To paraphrase an old advert 'Because he's worth it'
Arguments against?
