Decals starting to go on:
It was only until I started putting the decals on that I realised I had a slight problem!
The Planes of Fame aircraft has the plain, all-red roundels on the wings and fuselage. Which the kit does not have, nor do I have any spares!
All is not lost, however, as I remembered seeing some photos of the Zero after it was initially restored in the 1970s:
It has the white-ringed roundels, plus a couple of natty-looking chevrons on the fuselage. Personally, I think this scheme is a bit more appealing than the current scheme, but that's just me!
