Hey folks.
I'll be building the Italeri MiG-37 Ferret in 1/72.
The kit is missing the 2 main gear doors so Il be cutting a pair out of plasticard.
No idea when Il be doing this so it maybe a spur of the moment thing.

Very cool. A WHIF scheme or what is given in the instructions?

Re: Mav's Soviet Stealth
This one will be in the all over black Stealth livery as I'd like it to go with my F-117 and a future F-19.
If I find another one day Il be building that as a Solver and Green Soviet bird.

I had a dig through the stash tonight and I've found and bought the MiG-37 to the top of the pile so she's ready for a blitzing!

Re: Mav's Soviet Stealth
Bad news folks!
I got the kit out to take an overview shot and found one of the tailfins is missing!
I know I had it when I bought the kit but it was loose so it must have fallen out during the move and I'm gutted!
Unless I can find a replacement this is going to be a none starter and the kit will go back into the cupboard in till I have enough shill required to make a new one!

I have been looking around and I've found a spare set of wings in the F-8 Crusader I bought at SMW16.
I may have a play with them and see what happens.

Re: Mav's Soviet Stealth with NATO influence.
Ok heres an overview:
As stated before the wings are going to be experimental.
I'm thinking of using the kits wings as the tails and using the F-8 wings as the MiG-37's wings.
I kinda figured that this bird was experimental in the real world anyway so it could be edited without it looking too unusual.

Il be building this one in the workbench section as I won't have a 24 hour slot within the rules to finish her within the alloted gb dates.
