Best looking F-16 I have ever seen.

Re: Daz's Samurai blitz! - 1st February, 00:00hrs!
I thought this was a Blitz build. I see pictures of the build, but there seems to be a lack of food pictures. I thought one was as important (more important?) as the other.DazDaMan wrote:

Food doesn't last long enough for me to take a photo!
Anyway, on the final stretch...
Just need to paint the canopy, leading edge strips, fit the prop and the drop tank.

Sleep aside, how long (or more accurately how short...) has this taken so far? It has to be a near record?
Best wishes

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

In all, probably not far off 4hrs. Painting it took longer than building it!iggie wrote:Sleep aside, how long (or more accurately how short...) has this taken so far? It has to be a near record?

I'm beginning to like these Hobby Boss kits more and more. Of course, at some point I'll bite the bullet and do a Spitfire, but if I was a newbie to the hobby, I wouldn't say no to trying one of these as it takes most of the "routine" build work out for you. Great fun!

There's 27 more days in the Blitz, and a Spitfire in your stash. How can you resistDazDaMan wrote:I'm beginning to like these Hobby Boss kits more and more. Of course, at some point I'll bite the bullet and do a Spitfire

Thanks, folks.
I might try to do a Spit for this one, if I have time!
