I will be playing with the Revell re-pop of the T-34 tank, a delightfull little tank with a simple base, I might also join in, with an original Sherman Firefly on a broken bridge, that I have just won on Ebay, if it turns up in good time.

Mine will be the Lockheed F-104G.
I've just been fondling the two color baby blue and white sprue in anticipation, and wondering if the yellowed Luftwaffe decals will still do the job. I'd like to keep it original Matchbox.

John very kindly sent me 3 kits, a Brewster Buffalo, Hawker Hurricane and a Hawker Fury. He is a grand chap.

Don't think I'll get them all done as the Cargo Haulers GB & Blitzbau are happening this month too.
So I will begin with the Buffalo. Do I have to use the kit decals or are we allowed after market?

3) Messerschmitt 109E

Still not tracked down the Zero, sadly!

Any sun up your way? Put them where the sun [or UV light] can shine on them. That reduces the yellowing a great deal. Takes maybe about 5 days in strong sun or 2/3 days under a UV lamp

Aftermarket anythings is fine.

Not long to go now; just over a week

Blimey, you lot are keen; 9 build threads set up already! :)

I will be joining in with some armour kits John kindly sent over too. As kick-off was a few days away, I was holding off opening the kits etc yet, more so, because I am meant to be tidying up and returning the modelling room to its former use... and am then reduced to a much condensed modelling space for a while, whilst I am in-limbo.

Well, I really wanted to do a 700 ship. The San Diego is intended for a detailing, the Duke of York maybe a tad much, but I might find time for the Kelly, in a blitzy-sort-of-build ...

A bit late signing in but I'm in with either a Buffalo, in RAAF guise. Or a Meteor NF What ever. Meteor will be in either RAAF or Israeli colours.
I will also be a bit late starting as Margaret and I are off for a short break.
